“Giving the Best You’ve Got” is a plenary discussion that offers the cumulative knowledge and experience of area talent to advise conference attendees how to leverage their financial, intellectual and emotional resources to best support their community.

Attorney Ellen W. Freyman of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C. of Springfield, MA and Northampton, MA will be one of the lunch time panelists for the 4th Annual Next Level Development Conference for Women of Color. The other panelists for this discussion will be Ron Ancrum, Community Foundation of Western MA and Dora Robinson of United Way of Pioneer Valley. The event takes place on Saturday, October 2, 2010 from 8am to 5pm at the Springfield Sheraton Hotel in Springfield, MA.

This event is a personal and professional development opportunity for women of color seeking to take their lives to the next level. Attendees will be inspired, motivated and connected, and hear stories of success and tools of the trade from successful women of all colors. The conversation will take place during lunch time in a moderated round-table format.

This event includes another panel discussion called ‘A View from The Top’ with Magdalena Gomez, Teatro Vida; Madelyn Landreau, MassMutual Financial Group; Raquel Ortiz, US Department of Homeland Security; Cheryl Stanley, PhD., Westfield State University and Danielle Williams, Esq., The Scott Firm. Breakout sessions include:

The day will begin with a motivational Speaker, Reverend Dr. Barbara Headley and will finish with a conversation, ‘Making it Stick – Change through Goal Setting’. Cost to attend the event is $85 for single attendees and $70 for five or more group attendees. $50 is the cost for exhibitors. Day of registration will be $100 for a single attendee.
