An event that celebrates legal educators, trailblazers and role models who have demonstrated outstanding accomplishments in social justice, advocacy and business will shine the light on Attorney Ellen W. Freyman of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C. of Springfield and Northampton. The event, Top Women of Law, will honor Attorney Freyman for her accomplishments in the legal community at an award ceremony on Friday, September 23, 2011, from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Hynes Convention Center in Boston, MA.
The 4th annual event is sponsored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, a legal newspaper founded in 1972 that reports decisions issued by all the state and federal courts in Massachusetts, as well as changes to court rules, verdicts and settlement reports, bar discipline notices and all other news vital to attorneys in the commonwealth. Lawyers Weekly also covers hundreds of rulings from state and federal trial courts in Massachusetts, state agencies, and thousands of unpublished decisions from the Appeals Court.
