Attorney Andrea M. O’Connor of Shatz, Schwartz and Fentin, P.C. has been named to the 2026 Massachusetts Super Lawyers® list in the field of Bankruptcy: Consumer, marking her fourth consecutive year receiving the distinction.
Drawing on her experience representing both debtors and creditors, serving as a Chapter 7 trustee, and previously clerking for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts, she develops strategic, practical solutions tailored to each client’s unique circumstances and objectives.
A magna cum laude graduate of Western New England University School of Law, Attorney O’Connor served as editor-in-chief of the Western New England Law Review. She is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut, as well as before the United States District Courts of Massachusetts and Connecticut, the First Circuit Court of Appeals and the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
In addition to her legal practice, Attorney O’Connor is active in numerous professional organizations and leadership roles throughout the bankruptcy and legal communities. She serves as Bankruptcy Section Chair of the Hampden County Bar Association, co-chair of the Western Massachusetts Bankruptcy Conference and co-chair of the MCLE Bankruptcy Conference. She also serves on committees for the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Massachusetts.
