Professional Vision
Prior to becoming an attorney, Michael A. Deere was an associate professor of philosophy at Salem State University in Massachusetts. His tenure included three years serving as the chair of the department, and 10 years as the director of bioethics programming and curriculum development. He’s presented research on philosophical perspectives on pain and ethics domestically and in Italy, Finland, Norway and Sweden. As a tenured faculty member, he taught courses in existentialism, ethics, philosophy of art, writing at all levels, logic and critical reasoning. Attorney Deere also designed and taught courses on legal reasoning and writing, and legal and critical thinking—all expertise he brings to bear for our clients.
