Attorney Stephen L. Sobey Recognized as “Ones to Watch” in The Best Lawyers in America® 2026

A resident of Springfield, Attorney Sobey joined the firm in 2017 and has quickly established a reputation for excellence in estate planning and administration, elder law and related legal matters. He is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and Connecticut. He earned his Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School and his Bachelor of Arts from Fordham University.

Attorney Sobey is active in professional and community organizations, including the Massachusetts Bar Association, where he is a member of the Elder Law Advisory Committee, the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (Massachusetts Chapter) and currently serves as Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Viability, Inc.

Attorney Sobey has also been recognized on the Massachusetts Super Lawyers Rising Star list from 2021–2025 and is a graduate of the New England Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel. He has published articles on elder law and estate planning and actively contributes to continuing legal education programs in Massachusetts.
